What Is Music Therapy?

Music therapy is an allied health profession, backed by years of research, in which music is used within a therapeutic relationship to address physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.

The qualified music therapist assesses the needs and strengths of each client, and provides relevant treatment through creating, moving to, and listening to music.

Through musical involvement in a therapeutic context, clients' abilities are strengthened and transferred into other areas of their lives!
